According to a circular released jointly by State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ministry of Commerce, Artepharm was one of totally nineteen enterprises listed as the first batch of National Pilot Enterprise in Chinese Medicine Service Trade. It’s an outbreak for Chinese medicine service trade in Meizhou City in that it’s the only one enterprise from the city and one of four in Guangdong Province.

Artepharm was jointly founded in 2004 by Guangdong New South Group Co,. Ltd,. and expects from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine who had been engaged in Artemisinin antimalarial research and Chinese medicine antiviral research for decades. As a modern pharmaceutical enterprise, Artepharm is now focusing on the R&D and marketing of artemisinin, artemisinin-based therapy (ACT), antiviral herbal medicines and health food. Artemisinin Industrialization Project includes plantation, extraction and processing, R&D, manufacturing and sales.

The company will get cultivating guidance and key support from State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ministry of Commerce by being entered the list, and it will bring demonstration effect for forming famous brand of Chinese medicine service trade in Meizhou City, leading the pharmaceutical and heath-care industry to a fast and sound development track.
